The First Aid Course equips rescuers with essential skills to recognize and address a range of injuries and medical emergencies during the critical first moments before emergency services arrive. Participants will gain hands-on experience in managing common emergencies such as bleeding, burns, fractures, as well as medical incidents like strokes and seizures. Through interactive exercises and real-life scenarios, the course prioritizes practical skills and culminates in a written assessment. Students will learn to assess situations, provide effective care, and activate emergency medical services when necessary. Additionally, the course covers the use of an EpiPen and how to identify signs of allergic reactions.
This comprehensive training program is designed for anyone seeking to improve their health and safety preparedness in various first aid situations.

 

 

All Courses Include:

American Heart Association Certification
Certification is valid for 2 years and .4 ACE Cec’s
Meets State, Federal, Insurance and OSHA Requirements.

Certification Cards are issued upon completion of class.

Course options

Traditional (In-Person)

 

Course Duration: 30 Minutes

This is a fully in-person and hands-on training session.

 

NOTE: First Aid encompasses a wide range of topics within a limited timeframe. Please make sure to arrive on time and come prepared. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle; all necessary books will be provided during the class.

 

 

First Aid

(Virtual + In-Person)

 

Class Duration: Approximately 45-65 minutes

Part 1 - The American Heart Association's First Aid for Healthcare Provider Certification Blended Course provides a convenient learning experience. Participants can complete the Virtual Key on the AHA website at their own pace, whether at home or in the office.

 

Part 2 - After finishing the course, participants will gather for a scheduled certification session (during lunch or after work) at your office, where they will showcase their First Aid, CPR, and AED skills through a practical skills testing session. The Key includes clearly presented videos and instructional updates, along with a quick skills checkout for easy reference.
