BASIC LIFE SAFETY
(FOR THE MEDICAL PROVIDER)
The BLS Course equips rescuers with the skills to effectively identify and address adult emergencies during the critical first moments before emergency medical services arrive. Participants will learn single-rescuer and team-based basic life support techniques for adults, children, and infants through five engaging exercises, realistic scenarios, and a comprehensive written test. Students will gain the ability to recognize life-threatening situations, administer high-quality chest compressions, deliver proper ventilation, and utilize an AED promptly. Additionally, the course covers how to relieve choking for adults, children, and infants.
This training program offers a thorough health and safety solution, encompassing adult CPR and AED utilization specifically for healthcare providers.
All Courses Include:
American Heart Association Certification
Certification is valid for 2 years and .4 ACE Cec’s
Meets State, Federal, Insurance and OSHA Requirements.
Certification Cards are issued upon completion of class.

Course options
Traditional (In-Person)
Course Duration: 2-3 hours
This training is entirely in-person and hands-on.
Note: BLS encompasses a significant amount of material in a brief period. We encourage you to arrive on time and come prepared. Don't forget to bring a water bottle; all necessary books will be supplied during the class.

BLS
(Virtual + In-Person)
Class Duration: Approximately 45-65 minutes
Part 1: The American Heart Association CPR/BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification Blended Course provides flexibility through a Virtual Key available on the AHA website. Participants can complete this part at their convenience, whether at work or home, and at their own pace.
Part 2: After finishing the online coursework, participants will meet for a scheduled certification session (during lunch or after work) at your office. This 30-minute skills testing segment allows participants to demonstrate their CPR and AED skills. The Virtual Key features clear, easy-to-follow videos, instructional updates, and a quick skills checkout process.

Renewal BLS
(Blended Virtual + In-person)
Class Duration: 35-50 Minutes
This course is designed for individuals who are already certified and looking to renew their credentials.
Part 1 - The American Heart Association CPR/BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification Blended Course provides a convenient approach, offering participants a Virtual Key on the AHA Website. This allows them to complete the coursework at their own pace, whether at work or home.
Part 2 - After completing the online portion of the course, participants will meet at your office for a scheduled certification session (during lunch or after work). This 30-minute skills testing session allows them to demonstrate their CPR and AED skills. The Virtual Key includes clear, easy-to-follow videos and instructional updates, along with a quick skills checkout for reinforcement.
