Training Services Terms of Service

1. Scope of Training Services

 

Commissioned Professional Services, LLC (referred to as "the Company," "we," "us," or "our") offers comprehensive CPR, First Aid, and Basic Life Support (BLS) training. Our programs include hands-on skills practice and course instruction both in-person and online, catering to various settings such as workplaces, community centers, churches, youth programs, and nonprofits. In addition to these essential courses, we also offer other course options to help meet your specific training needs.

 

2. Educational Training Only / No Medical Advice

All instruction provided is strictly for educational and training purposes and should not be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Completion of the training does not ensure success in actual emergency situations.

3. Eligibility & Participation Requirements

To participate, individuals must be physically and mentally capable of engaging in hands-on skill practice, including compressions, rescue breaths, and AED operation. Participants should inform the Company of any limitations or concerns before training. Certification requires participants to be at least 18 years of age.

4. Youth Programs, Churches & Nonprofits

Training sessions may be conducted in collaboration with youth programs, churches, nonprofits, schools, and community organizations (collectively referred to as "Partner Organizations"). Participants are required to adhere to both Company guidelines and the policies of Partner Organizations. Parental or guardian consent may be necessary for minors.

5. Attendance, Completion & Certification

To be eligible for certification, participants must attend all sessions, complete required skills, and fulfill any written or online components mandated by the AHA (American Heart Association) . Certification cards will be issued in accordance with the policies and timelines set by the certifying body. Please note that certification is not guaranteed without completing all requirements.

6. Course Materials & Intellectual Property

All course materials, handouts, slides, and training resources are the property of the Company. They may not be copied, recorded, distributed, or resold without prior written permission.

7. Safety & Assumption of Risk

Hands-on training involves physical activity, and as such, participants assume all risks associated with participation, which may include minor injuries, soreness, or exacerbation of pre-existing conditions. The Company will not be held liable for injuries that occur due to participant negligence or failure to adhere to instructions.

8. No Guarantee of Employment or Compliance Approval

Completion of the training does not guarantee employment, job placement, promotion, or regulatory compliance. Employers and agencies may have additional qualifications and requirements.

9. Payment Terms

Payment is expected at the time of booking or prior to the start of class unless otherwise agreed in writing. Group rates, on-site fees, and travel costs may also apply. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, Zelle, CashApp, ACH, or other pre-approved options. Returned payments and disputes may incur additional fees and result in collection procedures. A 3% processing fee will be applied to all credit/debit transactions, which can be avoided by opting for cash or certain online payment methods like Zelle or Apple Pay.

10. Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a 75% cancellation fee. No-shows may be charged the full amount. Rescheduling is dependent on availability.

11. Refund Policy

Refund requests will not be honored once training has commenced or materials have been distributed. If a refund is approved, processing fees may be deducted from the total amount.

12. Photos, Video & Recording

 

Participants are prohibited from recording any part of the training without prior written consent. The Company values the privacy of its training sessions and ensures that all information shared within them is kept confidential. This policy is in place to foster an open and secure learning environment where all participants can engage freely without concerns about their discussions being shared or misused. If there is a need to record a session for legitimate purposes, participants must submit a request to management and receive explicit permission in writing before any recording takes place. Non-compliance with this policy may result in disciplinary action.

 

 

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. If liability is found, it is limited to the amount paid for the training giving rise to the claim.

14. Acceptance

By booking, registering, requesting training, or submitting payment, the participant explicitly acknowledges and agrees that these Terms & Conditions constitute a binding agreement. This agreement applies to all CPR, First Aid, BLS, and any additional training services provided.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

16. Acceptance

By booking, requesting service, or submitting payment, the customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that these Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement and apply to all CPR, First Aid, BLS, and any additional training services provided.
